Comments: My husband and I have a great fondness for the black GSPs. We purchased a black roan female pup in 2003 from Kirby Rust. This past year we purchased a solid black female pup out of SD. We are alawys interested in sites that support the blacks. Your site is very informative and the history and origin page along with Man's best friend are some great reading. We will keep you in mind for future pup purchases. Being avid grouse hunters here in Maine, you can never have enough GSPs! Thanks The Polands

Comments: I've been hunting behind an Irish setter and a Brittany for the last 6 years, but, last year my irish setter was diagnosed with a tumer on his pancreas. He did really well on the pheasents that were "runners" and the Brittany usually found the sitters that the big guy went past.I didn't expect him to live until last spring and want to get a replacement for him next spring.
